On Hiatus
Cookie Elf is currently on hiatus, due to not being in Vancouver. I may be around for the holidays, however, so if you’re interested in ordering cookies for anytime between the 21st and early January, contact me, and I might be able to help you out!
Gearing up for New Year’s!
Christmas is over, but the party hasn’t quite ended…New Year’s is just around the corner, and it’s not too late to order cookies for your midnight bash! All Cookie Elf cookies are still available for order, as are our party platters and festive cookie boxes.
Party Platters
Cookie Elf is sending out her first party platters of the season. We do platters in all different sizes and combinations, including this holiday assortment of 30 cookies, with three of each regular and small variety. Party platters are a great way to please your guests AND get a chance to try each different Cookie Elf Cookie!
This platter costs $35.
Today’s featured cookie: Almond Orange Strips
As one of Cookie Elf’s smaller cookies, these Orange Almond Strips are ideal both for holiday party platters or for a nice, light winter’s snack. In the former case, they can provide an alternative to heavy dips, cakes and the like, and in the latter, they are perfect with tea, or after a walk in the woods. Even better, they are a great deal! At $20 for two dozen, that’s approximately 80 cents per cookie!
Today’s featured cookie: Cranberry Orange Delights
What makes these Cranberry Orange Delights just so delightful? The fragrance of the orange, the chew of the cranberries, the depth of the brown sugar, the crunch of the pecans, and the lightness of the crumb! Buttery, yet airy, these Cranberry Orange Delight are sure to brighten your holiday season.
Today’s featured cookie: Zimtsterne (German Cinnamon Stars)
Zimtsterne are a traditional Germany holiday cookie, often baked on December 6th (the feast of St. Nicholas), and eaten throughout the advent season. Here in Canada, we can enjoy them any time of the year, but especially around the holidays, since their flavours just say Christmas: the aromatic cinnamon, the earthy hazelnut, the delicate meringue. Cookie Elf can go a little kooky for these cookies and has no shame in saying that they just might be her favourite Christmas treat.
